The pupils at the school where Ilkay Idiskut teaches come from all over the world, each bringing their own cultural background. This is evident, for example, when a boy says that girls are not allowed to wear bikinis. We discover fragments of traumas children carry with them, such as a disturbing drawing or a question about violent child abduction. When each child is given an iPhone to film with, we gain insight into their personal lives.
