Richard Bona, a charismatic bassist, is known for his love of combining jazz with his musical roots and influences from world and pop music. He began his musical journey in Cameroon as a multi-instrumentalist and was inspired by Jaco Pastorius to specialise as a bassist. Throughout his career, Bona has collaborated with prominent artists such as Joe Zawinul, Salif Keita, George Benson, Chaka Khan, Pat Metheny, Quincy Jones and Alfredo Rodriguez.
