Alphabets of Flesh: A sensory journey through movement, memory and the power of uprooting.
In the dance performance Alphabets of Flesh, choreographer and dancer Roshanak Morrowatian brings to life the experience of a body in diaspora. Together with dancer Mami Izumi, she depicts the fragmented reality of time and space for people who have left their homeland. In a sensory journey through movements and images of diaspora, Morrowatian searches for the feeling of home. Through dance, language, music and video art, Alphabets of Flesh creates a temporary home where differences are embraced and uprooting is a source of strength.
Don't miss this unique performance and be taken on a journey of emotion and discovery.
