Outdoor Exhibition 'Everyday People'

In Valkenburg, the unique art exhibition named 'Everyday People' is hosted in the historical streets. More than forty life-size concrete sculptures, created by renowned German artists Christel and Laura Lechner, will be displayed at 19 locations in the city center of Valkenburg. They form an accessible bridge between art and everyday life.

The 'Alltagsmenschen,' as the sculptures called, exude warmth, humor, and recognition. Placed in everyday situations, they bring a smile to the faces of passersby. Take a stroll through the streets of Valkenburg and discover the various photogenic scenes scattered throughout. From a group of friends enjoying a meal together to a couple dancing intimately, each sculpture tells a story and invites interaction.
