Endless rows of thousands of identical white crosses stand on a green grassy plain. It's a striking sight that touches the heart, with a serenity that starkly contrasts with the horrors of war.
Each cross represents one fallen American war hero who fought for the freedom of the Netherlands during World War II. Listen to the moving human stories from the guide and learn about the history of this place. Also, visit the Memorial Plaza with its tower, chapel, pond, and the 'Wall of the Missing.'
Tours are conducted in both Dutch and English. This activity is also suitable for school trips, where a specific educational theme can be arranged upon request.
